Tattersalls Members recently attended a talk by Transcendental Meditation expert Carol Maher. The evening included a relaxed discussion on TM meditation and we learned why millions of people from all walks of life are practicing all over the world and testifying to its wide ranging benefits.

*Transcendental Meditation is taught in a comprehensive structured course during which you will gain the ability to practice the technique correctly and effortlessly on your own.
Sunday 14th August 2016
(by appointment) In this session you learn on a one-to-one basis with Carol, you receive your personal mantra and instruction how to use it correctly. You will then practise on your own at home for twenty minutes.
Monday 15th August 2016
(one to one and a half hours) Verifying the correctness of the practice. This and the following meetings build up your understanding and confidence. You will learn how to recognise correct practice, and practical details such as how to begin and end meditation, when best to meditate, when you can do extra, and how to deal with external influences.
Tuesday 16th August 2016
(one to one and a half hours) Understanding the mechanics of meditation. This session is for most people a major break-through as you begin to understand the intimacy of the mind/body connection, how accumulated stress and tension is released from the nervous system and the effect of this on mental experience. The meditation begins to be understood.
Wednesday 17th August 2016
(one to one and a half hours) In the previous sessions we will have discussed the causes of negative thoughts and how we remove them. In this session we will cover the potential of the mind, higher states of consciousness awareness and the power of coherent thoughts. We will we examine the cumulative benefits of regular meditation. As clarity of mind increases better decisions can be made, leading to the desired outcome.
*Follow-up: Although you are self-sufficient in the practice after the four day instruction, a follow up of group meditation sessions can be schedule at no additional cost.
