Athletic Department

For many Tatts Members the key benefit of the Athletic Department is that towels, swimmers and toiletries as well as the contents of your own locker are on hand. You need never carry a gym bag again! 

Tattersalls Members are proud of the quality of their private Athletic facilities. The highlight is perhaps the FINA approved heated 4 lane 25 metre pool which in any setting would be a tremendous find but for a small private club in the middle of the city it is a true gem.  

At times you will have the whole pool to yourself, while on other occasions stroke correction, squad training or swimming club races will be churning along.  

Areas by the pool are used by Members for the daily lunch service and poolside is also where you will find the Club's sauna and steam rooms and the spa bath.  

On the actual gymnasium floor are a variety of the most contemporary cardio machines which allow Members to choose news, sport or other  television programs via personal headphones: meaning exercise should never be boring!

The Athletic Department also includes a full range of body and muscle training equipment and stations: fixed and free weights, barbells and spinning machines and a variety of punching bags and gloves.
