From 16:45

Monet ● Cézanne ● Matisse ● Picasso ● Gauguin ● Kandinsky ● Pissarro ● Malevich ● Denis ● Bonnard

Masters of modern art from the Hermitage presents a magnificent selection of works from the towering figures of modern art. Drawn from the unparalleled collections of the State Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg, the exhibition captures the ebullience, idealism and confidence of artists as they freed themselves from tradition.

Below Club Chairman Colin Dunn’s report on our after hours tour last year:

"The Club has triumphed again for Tattersalls Members and guests! When we booked for the private tour of the John Olsen collection we didn’t realise it would be very private. Apart from our fantastic guide and a guard or two, the Tattersalls group were alone in the gallery exploring some very interesting, thought provoking and wonderful works of art by one of Australia’s leading contemporary artists. These tours are a must do in the Tattersalls social calendar!"

After the tour, wander back to the Club for dinner with a Russian twist!

Each evening is limited to 30 people maximum.

$85 per person for members and guests includes tour and dinner (purchase own drinks on consumption).

RSVP essential

To RSVP please contact Sara at sarapeelgrane@tattersallsclub.org or on 9263 9202.

            Halloween Movie Night

            Halloween Movie Night

            From 18:30

Our first retro movie night at the Club!

Halloween, also known as 'All Hallows' Eve', can be traced back about 2,000 years to a pre-Christian Celtic festival held around 1st November called Samhain, which means 'summer's end' in Gaelic. The Celtics believed that the barriers between our world and the world of ghosts and spirits would abate at the end of summer and the harvest season, therefore having a big celebration to 'scare away the spirits'.

This Halloween, to scare away our own ghosts and spirits, the Club will be hosting a Halloween Horror Movie Night!

If you're in the spirit, dress up and enter the Members Bar for a night of spooky specials and get comfortable as you watch Michael Myers in the 1978 classic 'Halloween'.

For $25 per ticket, you can enjoy a movie, popcorn, ice cream and a choice of one of our spooky specials - the Frankenburger, Krueger's Nightmare Nachos or the Hannibal Hotdog!

To RSVP please contact Sara at sarapeelgrane@tattersallsclub.org or on 9263 9202.

Tattersalls Final Golf Day of the Year at NSW Golf Course

Tattersalls Final Golf Day of the Year at NSW Golf Course

                  From 07:15

The final Tattersalls Golf day of 2018 will soon be played at the prestigious NSW Golf Course.

Founded in 1928 the course was originally designed by Architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie and is situated on the northern headland of Botany Bay. The course consists of couch fairways with bent greens and is links style set amongst the hills and valleys that lead to the rugged Pacific Ocean coastline.

From Golf Australia's Top 100 Course for 2018:

Designers: Dr Alister MacKenzie (1928); Eric Apperly (1937 & 1951); Greg Norman & Bob Harrison (2010); Greg Norman (ongoing).

Judge’s Comments: “A game of golf at NSW should never be taken for granted. It is blessed with one of the best sites for a golf course in the world. The view atop the 5th fairway is reason alone to battle the ever-present winds at La Perouse.” – Ben Jarvis.

“NSW remains the course in the Aussie Top-10, and indeed the World Top-100, with the most untapped potential. With both a new course architect and new superintendent in the works, the promise of the finishing touches finally being applied feels tantalisingly close.” – Scott Warren.

Join the competition for what is always a great day out, with the ultimate goal of winning the Victor Audette Shield (Best 3 out of a maximum of 4 events).
