Welcoming our newest Members to the Club


Thursday 1st March from 18:00


All members are encouraged to join us in welcoming our newly joined friends at our next New Member Welcome evening.


Enjoy complimentary refreshments and drinks on arrival and if you wish to stay on we will be offering a selection from our Evening Bar Menu for dinner.


There will be a representation of each Sub Club, Young Member Committee and Club Committee members in attendance, allowing our newest members to have the chance to find out all they need to know about the Club.


The evening is also a special thank you to those members who proposed and seconded our newest members, something which the Club is very appreciative of.

This theme continues on from last year’s #beboldforchange and urges us not to be complacent. Now, more than ever, there's a strong call-to-action to press forward and progress gender parity.


Hosted by Tattersalls Member of almost 30 years, Peter Miller, who is CEO of NewsMediaWorks, the peak body representing Australia’s newspaper and digital news media publishers.


With Peter’s media background and long history with the Club, we look forward to welcoming him as facilitator of our panel discussion.


This luncheon will celebrate the achievements of Women and allow us to hear our guests stories from each of their very diverse backgrounds and careers, including;

Suzy Nicoletti – Managing Director, Twitter Australia

Susan Norrie – Artist and Documentary Film Maker

The Hon Justice Rachel Pepper – Judge, Land and Environment Court


We look forward to an interesting and thought provoking panel discussion, with the opportunity of a Q&A. You are welcome to bring your colleagues, friends or family, male and female, and support an important cause.


A specially curated menu for the occasion includes delicious fresh oysters and caramelised onion & goat’s cheese tartlets on arrival.


Seated lunch will consist of North Queensland Barramundi with Thai style sambal & Asian salad alternating with Lamb backstrap, quinoa tabouleh & tzatziki.


Ending on a sweet note, you will be served a trio of petite desserts including Belgian chocolate & raspberry tartlets, lemon meringue tartlets and berry macarons.


$80 per person for members and guests, including beverages.
