Wrap up
Tattersalls Club race days continue to attract large numbers, with many Members and AJC race goers enjoying their New Year's day at the Tattersalls Club New Year's race day at Royal Randwick.
The Tattersalls Club Cup (2000m) was won by RAINBOW STYLING (NZ), prepared by team Hawkes (Michael, Wayne and John) with jockey J. Cassidy, second place was HAIRY with B Avdulla riding for Gary Portelli and third place SPINNEY, Trainer Peter Snowden and jockey K McEvoy. Club Chairman John de Mestre presented the trophy to the winning team.
The other Tattersalls Club races included the Tattersalls Club Handicap (1300m) and the Carrington Stakes (1100m). Tattersalls Club Handicap was won by ONTHELOOKOUT trained by Barbara Joseph with jockey B Shinn, second place SARKOSY with G Buckley riding for Bede Murray and third place PRINCE OF CAPERS trained by Bill Prain with jockey J Cassidy.
Carrington Stakes was won by COURT, trained by Clarry Conners with jockey G Schofield, second place with T D Berry riding PRINCE BRAEMAN for Paul Perry and and third place PINS ON PARADE (NZ), trained by Kris Lees with jockey T Angland.

As the official Race Day host, Tattersalls Club Members and their guest have access to the AJC's Member's area at Royal Randwick.
Members and guests enjoy a day in the comforts of the AJC Members' stand particularly within the Villier Bar along with leading bookmakers and racing personalities plus there are complete dining corporate packages available in the AJC's Galaxy Room.
Members will receive their two entry and AJC passes with December House account statements.
