Tattersalls Club Member, Alan Sullivan QC will be the guest speaker for this breakfast seminar on Thursday 18 March, with the topic on Sport and Law.

Alan has been a barrister for more than 30 years and a Queen’s Counsel for 19 years. He has appeared in the Privy Council, High Court of Australia, Federal Court of Australia, Supreme Courts of New South Wales, South Australia, Northern Territory, Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania, National Court of Papua New Guinea and the Supreme Court of Papua New Guinea.

From 1994 to 1998 he was Chairman, New South Wales Rugby League Judiciary and, subsequently, Australian Rugby League Judiciary. Between 1988 and 2000 he served as Commissioner, Code of Behaviour for the Australian Cricket Board and from 2000 has served as the Deputy Senior Commissioner for Cricket Australia's Code of Behaviour. He is a Member of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, served as the Advocate for the British Olympic Team in the 2000 Sydney Olympics and was a Member of the Ad Hoc Panel of the Court of Arbitration for Sports to Adjudicate Disputes at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
