Save The Date: THE WHISKY SHOW 2012 is on Friday the 20th July and Saturday 21st July!!
The countdown for Australia’s biggest ever WHISKY SHOW is on!
Taking place at Tattersalls Club, 181 Elizabeth street, Sydney on Friday 20th July and Saturday 21st July, the show will feature more than 150 whiskies from around the world, including Australia. Confirmed exhibitors include Ardbeg, Johnnie Walker, Glenmorangie, Arran, Tullibardine, Chivas, Jim Beam, Yamazaki and many, many more!
David Ligoff, Show Organiser says: “Come and enjoy Australia’s greatest whisky tasting event, featuring the best whiskies from the world’s greatest distilleries including many Australian top brands”.
Highlights of the show will include a competition where two lucky whisky enthusiasts will be treated to a three day luxury whisky tour of the Whisky Isle's distilleries courtesy of The Tasmanian Whisky Producers Association. The trip includes private tastings with the master distillers at each of the distilleries as well as a visit to Bill Lark's peat bog on the Central Highlands, a night at heritage listed Nant distillery and a trip on one of Robert Pennicott's award winning wilderness cruises. Simply purchase any bottle of Tasmanian whisky at The Whisky Show for your chance to win!
There is also the Glenmorangie Whisky Cocktail Competition that will be judged by the Whisky Guru, Dan Woolley, for a chance to win $500.00. Visitors will not only taste the many whiskies available, they can also buy at the satellite store at special show prices!
Tickets are only $50.00 per person per day for online bookings, and $60.00 per person per day for tickets purchased at the door. A special "Designated Driver" ticket is available for $20.00 per person per day.
