Castlereagh St incident impacts Club

Members are advised due to the potential collapse of scaffolding in a Castlereagh Street complex, parts of the Club including Level 3, Athletic Department and Administration offices are temporarily closed until further notice.

The scaffolding is at the large building site near the Stockland Piccadilly shopping centre, between Market and Park streets. Police have evacuated parts of the Sheraton building, 179 Elizabeth Street and Tattersalls Club building.

Whilst the Police allowed for continual trading in the Members' bar tonight, the AD and other areas are closed. It is possible the full Clubhouse will be closed tomorrow.
