Life membership awarded to Glover and Finn

At the Club's Annual General Meeting, Club Chairman John de Mestre presented an honorary Life Membership to Mr Ken Finn and Mr Richard Glover.

Ken who is well known to Members and staff was awarded life membership of Tattersalls Club in recognition of his long serving membership and support of the Club. Ken will have been a Member for 40 years next April and he turned 80 in March of this year. He is an Architect by profession and frequents the Club regularly with daily trips to the Athletic Department and social visits to the Members' bar.

Richard John Glover a Member for over 37 years was also awarded life membership. Rick was recognised for his contributions to the Club through his role on the Club Committee and promoting and supporting the Club through the sub clubs and events. Rick was elected to the Club Committee in 1996, and served through to May 2008 including two years as Club Chairman. In the past two years he has successfully completed the Kokoda Track with the Tattersalls group and the 100km Oxfam Trialwalker his team raised over $15000 for the Oxfam charity.
