Members enjoy Tatts New Years Race Day

Tattersalls Club racing was back on the racing map with a crowd of up to 7,124 enjoying the Tattersalls Club's New Years day race meeting at Royal Randwick.

There were eight races, with eight different trainers claiming the first place prizes that were on offer with Tommifrancs, trained by Gerald Ryan winning the Tattersalls Club Cup (2000m).

The two other Tattersalls Club races - the Tattersalls Club Handicap (1300m) was won by Super Hawk with Joshua Parr riding for Bill Prain and the Carrington Stakes (1100m) won by Hairy with Jeff Lloyd in the saddle for trainer David Payne.
