The terrible weather did not dampen the spirit of our team who made it through to the quarter finals. Our boys won their group matches in style without conceding a try, putting three tries on the Randwick Hammerheads, five tries over the Lions and demolishing the Toucans 2 with seven unanswered tries.

 

In a tough quarter final encounter against the NSW Country Barbarians, full time arrived with scores locked at 12 - 12, Tattersalls were then unfortunately defeated by a golden point, with their opponents going on to win the coveted title.

 

Not content to end the tournament with that gut-wrenching defeat, Tattersalls went onto claim the Challenge Cup, coming up trumps over the other losing quarter finalists.  Well done boys!

 

It should be noted that this fabulous weekend of rugby raised $20,000 for various charities
