Snooker Calcutta Final - a close finish

Over 20 Members and guests watched quality, live Snooker action in the Championship Room for the Snooker Calcutta Final.

The players Kaz Pociask and John Joyce showed plenty of class with Kaz Pociask the eventual winner.

John Joyce put up a solid fight and for a time he had Kaz 2/3 way through the first frame.  Both frames were close. 

Next week the regular Thursday Scramble competition will be played on Wednesday 15 July (rather than Thursday) to co-incide with the Club's telecast of State of Origin. Members and guests can take advantage of the Club's $15 steak offer.

With the Snooker room now featuring a new large flat screen TV, this provides a great viewing point to catch the match in addition to the telecast in the Members' Bar.
