Tatts breakfast seminar - Law and Sport

Tattersalls Club Member, Dennis Wheelahan QC will be  our guest speaker as part of the Club's regular Breakfast seminar.

Dennis has been a barrister for more than 40 years and a Queen’s Counsel for more than 20 years. He has been a Judge and an Associate Judge of the New South Wales District Court, a New South Wales Supreme Court Common Law Arbitrator, a Defence Force Magistrate and Judge Advocate.

From 1996 he has been an Independent Citing Commissioner for the SANZAR, Super 12 and Super 14 Rugby series. He was the IRB Citing Commissioner for Rugby World Cups 2003 and 2007, Citing Commissioner and Judicial Officer for British and Irish Lions’ Tour of New Zealand 2005, Judicial Officer for the Under 19 World Championship
in Dubai, IRB and SANZAR Judicial Officer since 2008 and member and
Chairman of IRB International Appeals Committees.
