Tatts win its fourth Maui Open relay

The Tatts Masters team have won their fourth Maui Open 16km channel relay swim in 3 hours, 8 minutes and 5 seconds, with second placed team 4 minutes behind. 

The team included:
Peter Thiel, captain, (3rd in the 35-39 age group FINA Masters 3km in 08) 
Trent Grimsey (2nd in the 25km world champs in Rome this year)
Brendan Capell (former 25km world open water champ and 7th in the Rome in the same event this year)
Ky Hurst (10km Olympics open water swim in Beijing in 08)
Ryan Napoleon (current Australian 1500m champ and 11th at the World champs 1500m in Rome)
David Browne (Silver in the FINA 10 km swim in Lac St. Jean in Canada in July)

*Ryan Napoleon is our late addition replacing Cameron Smith who was ruled out of travelling last week due to illness.

The legendary Sociales team also continued their legendary efforts, with 6th place finish in the combined age group (240-300 years) a time of 6 hours, 36 minutes and 46 seconds. The team included: Cesar Puertolas, captain, Lachlan Benson, Andrew Davis, Simon Morgan, Luke Morgan and Marty McConnell.
