Tattersalls Club Annual Swimming Championships were held this week on 2 and 4 December with good times posted in all age groups.

The blue ribbon 100 metres Open event was won narrowly by Peter Thiel in the excellent time of 56.36 and just ahead of Michael Ward. Thiel also won the Open 50 metres in 25.77.

The 2008 World Masters Swimming champion, Alan Brown ploughed home to win the Over 60 age group in 29.62 whilst last year’s 100 metre open stalwart, Grant Peters recovered sufficiently from a throat infection to take out the Over 40’s dash.
