Hudson Baby Bourbon wraps up our Whisky Club year

Our final Whisky of the month has arrived and we are celebrating with a live cross to New York Athletic Club for a virtual tasting, hosted by NYAC Beverage Manager and mixologist Julia Rickert. A bit about the Hudson Baby Bourbon below:

Tuthilltown Spirits Farm Distillery is New York’s first whiskey distillery since prohibition, distilling some of America’s most prized spirits in the Hudson Valley.

When you take the Hudson New York Corn Whiskey and store it in a first-use charred American Oak barrel, out pops the Baby. The barrel aging process gives this spirit a light sweetness and deep amber colour. This 100% corn bourbon has a bright, defined taste and a warm finish with notes of marzipan and roasted corn.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Deep copper

Nose: Sweet corn and vanilla

Palate: Vanilla, sweet corn, caramel, oak with gentle floral notes

Finish: Long and slightly hot, sweet

Run Club invites you to reclaim Sydney

Four Saturdays from Saturday 30th May at 08:00

We live in the most beautiful city in the world, filled with amazing sights and plenty of things to do.

So what better way to see the city and all it has to offer than by joining our 'Run for fun' club?!

Every Saturday morning we will be traversing different sights and scenes of this beautiful city, taking in the views whilst getting our heart rates up and ticking off our exercise goals.

The format is set for a four week block and will be set up to cover all areas of Sydney. The class will be focused on running, but all fitness levels are encouraged to come along.

Saturday 30th May:Our first stop will meet at the Club at 08:00 and will head towards The Domain and Mrs Macquarie’s chair for a combined sprint/stair and interval session.

Saturday 6th June:No run due to the long weekend.

Saturday 13th June: Our second run will be the beautiful Wanda Sand Dunes, starting in the car park at 08:00.

Saturday 20th June: Our third stop will take us to the Eastern Suburbs to tackle the beautiful Cooper Park.

Saturday 27th June: The fourth stop we will keep as a mystery, but we are certain you won’t be disappointed.

We can’t wait to see you all and to take over this beautiful city of ours!

Ten out of ten: dining pioneers

What a week it has been. We think it’s safe to say, one of the most exciting in recent history. As we welcomed back Members, ten at a time.

Over fifty Members and their guests have taken advantage of Chef Nath's special menu; think roasted sweet potato and puy lentils with carrot, wild rocket, herbs, turmeric with a chicken, lamb or barramundi skewer. Or a lemon myrtle spiced grilled N.T. barramundi, served with your choice of chips and salad or vegetables. Old favourites remain, including Danny's classic soups and our special steak

Mario, Esmond and Popi were delighted to see so many of your faces back, and our various COVID officers including the AD and administration teams and GM Des relished their roles keeping Members and guests safe.
