Swimming Club within Tattersalls
Tatts Members who further join the swimming club are allocated a handicap and can participate in races at 1:15pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Monthly prizes and trophies for winners of monthly and annual events keep the interest in this core activity of our Swimming Club very active.
Maui Channel Swim
This in an annual international ocean swim held in Hawaii for teams of six swimmers, in relay, from the island of Lanai to Maui (Kaanapali Beach/Lahaina). Our results over the years have been extremely credible, winning on one occasion and second on numerous others. The 2008 event is on Saturday 30 August, please contact the Club for details.
Ocean Swims and Rottnest Island Swim
Individuals and teams from Tattersalls have become very active in entering many of the ocean swims in and about Sydney and with excellent results. Please refer to the event calendar for latest events.
Aussi
Masters
Tattersalls Club is an affiliated member of Aussi Masters and a number of our Members are keen competitors in the numerous events conducted in State, National and World Title meets. The team is competing in this year's 2008 FINA World Masters Championships in Perth from 15-25 April 2008. All enquiries please email the Club.

It's on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
mornings from 6:45am the Club. What has become a traditional breakfast
follows on Friday morning in the bistro of the Club.

Each year in November at the conclusion
of the monthly events referred to above we hold our Club Championships
ranging from Open to over 65's
Calcutta
Instigated by former life Member of Tattersalls and Olympic Squad member, Harry Turner, this Calcutta event is fiercely contested annually to raise money for prostate cancer research. Please refer to the Club's event calendar for dates of this year's Crystal Swimming Calcutta.
Members interested in participating in the Swimming Calcutta event should email their details to tattersallsclub@tattersallsclub.org to enter in this event. Members and their guests are welcomed to spectate this special event.
Two Tatts Relay
This annual event comprises three relay races against our good friends from City Tattersalls Club The Annual 2-Tatts Relay was held on Thursday 27 September with City Tatts taking out three of the four relays including the Opens, Over 50s and Over 60s. The Tattersalls swim team won the Over 40s event. Well done to all the team, and we look forward to retaining the Trophy in 2008.
