On an overcast morning on Thursday 13 October, 28 Members and Guests took part in the third golf day for the year at The Australian Golf Club. With Sydney in the middle of an extremely wet period, it was a delight to play a course in such good condition.

With a shotgun start at 08:00, the field all departed together, on the very well-presented but challenging layout.

It was great to see most players being able to stay for an ale and the presentation after playing at this prestigious course. All the Tattersalls Members and their guests were quite glad to be back playing golf and socialising again.

The winners on the day were as follows:

  1. First: Robert Dunn (Guest) with 38 points
  2. Second: Martin Karafilis with 37 points
  3. Third: Scot Menzies with 34 points
  • Longest Drive: Deborah Dunreath-Cooper (Guest)
  • Nearest to the Pin: Noel Condon

We play four events every year with the best three scores out of the four being used to determine the winner of the coveted Victor Audette Shield which can only be won by a Member.

For the last event of the year, we hit off the NSW golf course at 08:00 Tuesday 8 November 2022.

We will again hold our Christmas presentation lunch on a date to be fixed with all the Members and their Guests invited and encouraged to attend.

Please reach out to the team at events@tattersallsclub.org to participate in our next golf event or to RSVP for the Golf Club’s Christmas lunch.

I look forward to seeing everyone at our next golf day together with welcoming new members and guests.
