Last week, we touched on the amazing results our Tattersalls swimmers produced at the recent World Aquatics Masters Championships event.
From open water domination to personal bests, all of our representatives did the club proud.
One who excelled is our August AD MOTM, Guy Farrow.
This is Guy’s second nomination for AD Sportsperson of the year- a reflection on the wonderful year he is having in the pool.
Guy has had his sights set on the World Aquatics Masters Championships ever since qualifying at Homebush in March this year.
With his training hitting peak momentum, Guy took first place in the men’s 100 m Freestyle, setting a new national record for the distance, stopping the clock in a blistering 58.58 seconds.
This swim is Guy’s third national record for the year, having earlier set the pool alight, breaking the men’s 25 m and 50 m Freestyle records.
These results are a true testament to Guy’s meticulous planning and use of the Tattersalls swimming network, getting tips and pointers from all our members who were cheering Guy on for this result.
With only the MSNSW Short Course Championships left for the year, we are excited to see what Guy can produce and see if he can finish the year just as strong as he started!
Well done on your amazing results.
