It might be time to take the plunge into our ice baths.

The Athletic Department offers two dedicated ice baths, available 7 days a week.

Sitting between 6–10°C, these ice baths take a little getting used to, the payoff being the benefits your body will get.

It has been demonstrated that regular cold water immersion can help reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and even boost one’s mood.

Members will experience a massive dopamine boost.

Ice baths are not only for elite athletes; they are for anyone who works out consistently or leads an active lifestyle.

Research has shown that even occasional use can contribute to improved sleep quality, reduced muscle fatigue, and greater mental clarity.

Ice baths can also help flush metabolic waste and accelerate healing, keeping your body primed for peak performance.

Remember to start slowly, aim for 60seconds if it is your first time, after a few plunges, try to increase your tolerance to up to 5 minutes per plunge.

As always, we ask you to shower first before hopping into the ice baths.
