The Tattersalls Golfing members gathered in the Dining Room for the annual Golf Sub-Club Christmas lunch, where the true spirit of golf and friendship took centre stage. The festive event offered fantastic food amidst cheerful members, and also gave everyone the chance to celebrate the impressive achievements of the 2025 Victor Audette Shield winner, Colin Dunn.
The coveted Victor Audette Shield has been part of the Golf Sub-Club since 1933. The Shield is awarded to the best three scores accumulated from the four rounds played, which included some of Sydney’s most spectacular courses: Elanora GC, The Lakes GC, The Australian GC, and St Michael’s GC.
This year marked another successful season for the Tattersalls Golf Sub-Club, with all four scheduled golf days completed. The weather played a bigger role than usual: Elanora was rescheduled to the following week due to rain, and St Michael’s was played in wet, soft conditions, but we were also treated to two days of clear blue skies.

- 1st Place: Colin Dunn – 98 points
- 2nd Place: Rain Wang – 90 points
- 3rd Place: Alan Israel – 90 points
Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who participated throughout the year. As we close the chapter on 2025, we’re already gearing up for another exciting year of golf in 2026. The dates and courses for next year’s golf days are being finalised and will be announced in mid-January.
