Tonight, four bottles make their way into the Members Bar. Four expressions of contemporary winemaking, each shaped by region, climate, and intent.
Tin Shed Melting Pot Shiraz represents the bold, generous heart of the Barossa, delivering richness with polish. In contrast, Soho “Valentina” Syrah from Waiheke Island brings a more restrained, elegant style, where perfume and structure take centre stage.
On the white side, Rocky Road by McHenry Hohnen Chardonnay from Margaret River reflects the modern Australian shift toward freshness and balance, while Trinity Hill Sauvignon Blanc from Waiheke Island offers vibrant immediacy, crisp, aromatic, and made for early enjoyment.
Together, tonight’s selection captures a spectrum of styles, from powerful to poised, reminding us that today’s wine landscape is defined by diversity rather than a single dominant voice. We hope to see you there!
