DESCRIPTION:Friday 05 December from 18:00 to 21:30 in the Dining Room. \nCost: Members $125 and Guests $135 (includes wines and food pairing) \nWe’re delighted to welcome Prof. Milgate back to guide another evening of exquisite wine and fine dining for our members. Known for his engaging style and deep knowledge\, Prof Milgate will lead guests on a tasting journey across some of the world’s most celebrated wine regions. \nThe evening begins with champagne on arrival and a mystery apéritif. Guests will be treated to a curated tasting journey across four “flights”\, each representing a different region and country: \n\nLoire Valley\, France: Domaine Huet Vouvray Le Mont Moelleux 2003 and Marc Bredif Vouvray vintages from 2010 and 2018\nMargaret River\, Australia: Chardonnays from Calgardup Brook\, Hazel’s\, and Burnside Vineyards\, alongside a mystery white wine\nPinot Noir Showcase\, Australia & France: Garagiste Merricks 2023 (Australia)\, William Downie Gippsland 2017 (Australia)\, and Domaine Chandon de Briailles ‘Ile des Vergelesse’ Premier Cru 2020 (France)\nDessert Wines\, Hungary & Surprise: Disznókő Tokaji Aszú Kapi Vineyard 6 Puttonyos 2017 (Hungary) and a surprise sweet wine\n\nEach “flight” is a mini-journey\, showcasing the distinct character of its region and allowing guests to explore\, compare\, and savour great wines from around the world. \nThere are only 30 spaces available\, so secure your place for this evening of wine discovery and gourmet dining. \nStay tuned\, a special menu for the evening will be available soon.
