The first-ever Tattersalls Swimming Invitational Meet was everything we hoped for and more!

After months of planning, the Tattersalls Swimming Club welcomed three other clubs to join in our inaugural invitational meet:

  • City Tatts
  • Wett Ones
  • Leichhardt

With over 65 participants hitting the pool deck, it was a night full of fun, excitement, and some truly unforgettable swimming moments.

This year, our Swimming Club has gone from strength to strength under the guidance of MSA award-winning coach Ewen McDonald. Ewen played a key role in organising the carnival, serving as both chief starter and chief marshal. Thanks to his efforts, every swimmer was in the right place at the right time, mainly on the blocks and in the water, and the meet ran seamlessly from start to finish.

Our Food and Beverage team also made sure our guests were well looked after, serving our home-crafted pizza for everyone to enjoy.

As has been the case throughout the year, the Tattersalls women’s team shone brightly, with Paris Zhang taking out the women’s Skins event. In the men’s competition, Mitch Larkin made it to the final four, delivering an impressive performance.

A big thank you to Jeanette and Chris from the AD for their extra efforts on the night, your support was invaluable.

As this was the final event for the Tattersalls Swim Club this year, all swimmers will now enjoy a well-deserved break before beginning their next training block in mid-January.
