Wednesday 8 March 2023

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is Cracking the Code: Innovation for a gender-equal future’. It asks us all to imagine a gender-equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women’s equality. Collectively we can all #EmbraceEquity.

Last year the Club invited two incredible women who have overcome trauma through creativity, advocating against bias around domestic violence and abuse victim/survivors and asylum seekers and refugees, Melanie Jai, Founder of The Paper Boat Project and Hani Abdile.

This year the Club is planning an even bigger event for International Women’s Day, as September 2023 is the year when Tattersalls marks its 10-year milestone of opening the gates for all the incredible women to join our community.

We don’t want to reveal too much too soon, so for now please block Tuesday 8 March in your calendars, and keep an eye out for more information in our upcoming newsletters.
