The first Tuesday in November is upon us and it’s time to unveil the Melbourne Cup ” Carnival” experience in the Members’ Bar.

Tattersalls Club’s classic Race day Carnival experience takes the best of Flemington, a century of running championship races and brings a great day of entertainment to you in your Club overlooking our great city’s first racetrack.


  1. Chef Fernando’s adaption of the ever-popular Peter Rowland’s Chicken sandwich for Canapes.
  2. Lo-fi Lawn games that take you down memory lane and elevate the spirit.
  3. Spring-themed Welcome Cocktails to kickstart the afternoon.
  4. And freshly out of the box and a unique VIP Bar experience.

Along with this, delectable grazing stations, canapes, and an unlimited beverage package can also be enjoyed while watching the day’s racing as part of the Members’ Bar package priced at $75.

Members seated in the Dining room are also to participate in the adventures and activities in the Bar, as well as the spectacular four-course lunch by Head Chef Fernando Casanova, and premium beverages while revelling with your friends, family, clients or colleagues for just $160.

Both experiences will also enjoy the raffle, betting facilities and best dressed, while catching all the Melbourne Cup Carnival action live on the big screens.

Our theme for the event is Purple Spring so don your best suits and frocks, add a splash of spring colour, and break out your fascinators for a wonderful Melbourne Cup celebration.
