In 2026, Tattersalls Club is rolling out the red carpet and inviting members to experience some of the most acclaimed musical productions landing in Sydney. We’re delighted to have secured limited tickets to two standout Broadway favourites, giving members the opportunity to enjoy dinner at the Club before heading out for a night of great entertainment at the theatre.

The season opens with the spectacular return of The Lion King, one of the most beloved and visually breathtaking musicals ever staged.

The evening begins with an Italian dinner at Tattersalls Club from 17:30, before heading to the Capitol Theatre for the 19:00 performance. From the moment Pride Rock rises through the mist, audiences are transported to the heart of the Serengeti, where giraffes strut, birds swoop, and the music soars.

Winner of six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, The Lion King has captivated more than 120 million people worldwide. Directed by the visionary Julie Taymor, this extraordinary production blends powerful storytelling, unforgettable music, and awe-inspiring stagecraft in a theatrical experience like no other.

Exciting shows for the future: Waitress the Musical

SAVE THE DATE: Wednesday 12 August, a preshow dinner followed by the performance at 19:00 at the Sydney Lyric Theatre, Pyrmont.

Later in the year, members will also be invited to enjoy the much-loved Broadway hit Waitress the Musical, arriving in Australia for the very first time.

This heartwarming and uplifting musical follows Jenna, a small-town waitress with a gift for pie-making, as she searches for a fresh start. Featuring an original score by Grammy Award winner Sara Bareilles, Waitress the Musical is a joyful celebration of resilience, friendship, and hope, complete with a dessert pie inspired by the show’s theme.
