Guinness World Record Attempt.
We are proud to announce our participation in a Guinness World Record attempt. On November 22-23 of 2025, nine elite freedivers will take on an extraordinary challenge: a 24-hour underwater relay with no fins at our historic club. Their goal? To swim more than 60 km underwater, that’s 2,400 laps of a 25 m pool and set a new Guinness World Record.
They’re not just diving for glory. They’re diving for Rainbow Club, a social swimming club that gives young people with a disability the chance to learn to swim, build confidence, and be part of an inclusive community.
For 24 hours, three freedivers will be in the water at all times, rotating in a continuous relay for 24 hours. Judges, medics, and witnesses will be on deck to verify every lap for Guinness World Records. It will be a test of endurance, resilience, and teamwork, all in support of young people with disabilities.
We are strong advocates for excellence and compassion, as they are a part of the fabric that makes this Club and it’s community. Therefore, we are honoured to be hosting such an event and supporting such a cause.
