On a beautiful sunny Tuesday morning on 8 November, 31 Tattersalls Members and Guests took part in our final golf day for the 2022 year at picturesque NSW Golf Club.

With a subtle breeze in the air just for the tee-off, there wear murmurs of what could be if it picks up anymore as it is notoriously challenging out on the course even with the best of conditions.

With a shotgun starting at 08:00 at the field, all departed to their respective tees, on the very well-presented but challenging layout. It was a mixed bag on the course regarding scoring but there were plenty of cheers for chip-ins and some close calls, all in all, everyone was happy to be out on the course. An ice-cold drink and some rolls and sandwiches were waiting for the golfers after the round in the clubhouse where our presentation was held.

The winners on the day were as follows:

First:                             Malcolm Menzies with 38 points
Second:                         Russel Dunn with 37 points
Third:                            Peter Linnegar with 35 points
Longest Drive:              Glenn Spratt
Nearest to the Pin:        Peter Linnegar

We have now played our four Golf events of this year, where the best of three scores out of the four being used to determine the winner of the coveted Victor Audette Shield which can only be won by a Member.

The results of this award will be announced at the final Golf event of the year, that is, the Annual Golfers Lunch where fond memories and what-ifs are discussed with all the Members and their Guests that have played throughout the year.

Contact the team at events@tattersallsclub.org to RSVP for this lunch to be held at 12:00 Friday 9 December.
