With the weights floor constantly evolving and pieces being moved, replaced, and upgraded, it can be a little confusing or overwhelming for those new to resistance training.

Working with lead trainer Chris, the AD will be running a “how-to” education session on Thursday 23 October. The sessions will run at 07:30 and 17:30 and will go for 30 minutes each.

Each session will cover the basics of our resistance training equipment, from setup and pack-down to functional movements and a breakdown of the muscles used.

If you can’t make the educational session, we’d like to remind members that as part of their membership, they receive two complimentary weight assessments and programs through the Athletic Department.
