Due to its ongoing popularity, we are pleased to announce that OsteoStrong will now be added to our weekend timetable.
Starting at 9 am on Saturday, September 13th, the class is the perfect addition to everyone’s training plan.
As we know, it is recommended to lift weights at least twice a week to maintain healthy muscle mass and bone density.
As we get more “life experience,” this becomes extremely important.
Studies have shown that weightlifting is beneficial for older adults because it helps maintain muscle mass, improves strength and balance, and reduces the risk of falls and fractures. It also contributes to better blood sugar control, cardiovascular health, and can even help prevent cognitive decline. Essentially, strength training can significantly enhance the quality of life and independence as we age.
