We’re delighted to welcome Prof. Milgate back to guide another evening of exquisite wine and fine dining for our members. Known for his engaging style and deep knowledge, Prof Milgate will lead guests on a tasting journey across some of the world’s most celebrated wine regions.

The evening begins with champagne on arrival and a mystery apéritif. Guests will be treated to a curated tasting journey across four “flights”, each representing a different region and country:

  • Loire Valley, France: Domaine Huet Vouvray Le Mont Moelleux 2003 and Marc Bredif Vouvray vintages from 2010 and 2018
  • Margaret River, Australia: Chardonnays from Calgardup Brook, Hazel’s, and Burnside Vineyards, alongside a mystery white wine
  • Pinot Noir Showcase, Australia & France: Garagiste Merricks 2023 (Australia), William Downie Gippsland 2017 (Australia), and Domaine Chandon de Briailles ‘Ile des Vergelesse’ Premier Cru 2020 (France)
  • Dessert Wines, Hungary & Surprise: Disznókő Tokaji Aszú Kapi Vineyard 6 Puttonyos 2017 (Hungary) and a surprise sweet wine

Each “flight” is a mini-journey, showcasing the distinct character of its region and allowing guests to explore, compare, and savour great wines from around the world.
