Dear members,
It is with great disappointment that I write to inform you that our long serving General Manager, Des Mulcahy will be leaving us to take on the significant role as Chief Executive of another prestigious Sydney based institution.
We are delighted for Des that he has been selected to lead such an organisation and we wish him every success for this exciting next stage of his career. Whilst disappointed that Des has decided to accept another role, we are grateful for his long period of service and the diligence and hard work he has given to our Club.
The Committee has commenced the process to find a suitable replacement and are hopeful a careful and thorough process will unearth a candidate capable of running our Club and continuing the rejuvenation we have experienced over the last decade.
Des will remain with us until the end of the year, ensuring a smooth transition. We plan to have a well-deserved farewell for Des so that members will be able to pay tribute to him for many years of excellent service.
