On Tuesday 07 November our Club transformed into a hub of glamour of festivities as we celebrated the Melbourne Cup, the race that stops the nation! The Dining Room was abuzz with members, and the drinks flowed freely – beers, wine, and even a touch of Moet to add that extra dash of sparkle.

Our official MC, the one and only Andrew Coorey, took the reins and steered our guests through an interesting and fascinating journey into the Club’s rich history of racing connections.

But what’s a race without raffles and prizes? Lucky winners galore! Italian and Gin hampers found their way into the hands of those with a bit of racing luck on their side.

In the midst of the tight race, we couldn’t forget our fashionistas! Charmian Steinbeck stole the show with her radiant yellow hat, and Robin McGowan turned heads in a sharp, well-tailored suit. They trotted away with more than just style points – pamper packs from Blow Bar and The Barber Shop were given to our glamourous winners.

Thank you to everyone who attended, contributing to the resounding success of the event!
