Friday 04 July at 07:30 at the Athletic Department
The Tattersalls Club has a longstanding tradition of Members helping Members. The Club prides itself on honour and friendship, and a familiar camaraderie.
Over the years, we have been lucky enough to have some of the world’s best swimmers come in and share their knowledge and passion for the sport with our members.
We are now excited to announce that our next swimming clinic will be on Friday, 04 July, led by member James Hickman.
James represented Great Britain in the Olympics, FINA world championships and European championships, and England in the Commonwealth Games. He became a world champion five times in the 200 m butterfly in short course (25 m), twice a world record holder, Commonwealth Champion and four times European Champion.
At the ASA National British Championships, he won the 100 metres butterfly title five times in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 and the 200 metres butterfly title three times in 1994, 1998 and 1999.
The Club is extremely lucky to have someone with such an exciting knowledge of swimming and a passion for teaching to be able to showcase their skills.
Starting at 07:30 and lasting an hour, the clinic is reserved for Tattersalls members and will focus on improving starts, turns, finishes and all the things in between.
This is a must-attend event- spots are extremely limited, Members must RSVP for this event.
