Another carnival, another swag of medals for our incredible Tattersalls swim squad.
Two weeks ago, our swim squad, led by coach Ewen, headed to the Central Coast.
After weeks of training and preparation, 11 swimmers represented the Club at the two-day carnival, delivering an outstanding performance across the weekend. Together, they brought home a total of 17 gold, 9 silver, and 3 bronze medals, along with three State records and three National records. A special shoutout to Paris Zhang, who set two new National and one State record, and to Grace Zhang, who added another State record to the tally, an incredible effort from our entire swim team!
Summary of this weekend’s results for our swimmers:
- Paris Zhang: 5 gold medals, 2 National records, 3 State records
- Patricia Reid: 5 gold medals
- Peter Joseph: 2 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze
- Alf Moufarrige: 1 gold
- Grace Zhang: 1 gold, 4 silver, 1 State record

To cap off an incredible meet, Paris Zhang was awarded Swimmer of the Meet – her 2nd time winning this honour in 4 weeks.
With the swimming season nearly complete, the Tattersalls team is now setting their sights on the final meet of the year, the Manly Masters Branch Pointscore Meet in Lane Cove Aquatic Centre, aiming to bring home another haul of medals!
