Friday 16 May (Recap)
Thanks to our partnership with the NSW Waratahs, ten lucky members and guests enjoyed an unforgettable game-day experience during the recent clash between the NSW Waratahs and the Crusaders.
The evening kicked off with exclusive on-field access. Our group stood just metres away from the action, watching both teams warm up. The atmosphere was electric, and being so close to the players gave everyone a real sense of the intensity and preparation behind the scenes.
Next, we were treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of the Waratahs’ changerooms, an exciting opportunity to see where the team gets game-ready as well as food, drinks and nutrition station where are one and only Malcolm was asking lot’s of questions.
The highlight came as we took our places on the field to form the guard of honour, welcoming both teams as they ran out to the crowd’s roar. It was a special moment that won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
The evening wrapped up with a fiercely contested match. Despite the Waratahs’ best efforts, a late surge from the Crusaders saw them snatch the win in a thrilling finish.
A big thank you to the Waratahs for making this incredible experience possible. Unfortunately, as that was the last home game for the year.
They are on the brink of finals but must win.
With their match in Auckland happening first, should they win, they will also be hoping that the Hurricanes can maintain their red hot form and defeat Moana Pasifika in Wellington. Should the Tahs win in Auckland for the first time since 2009 and the Hurricanes get up, the Tahs will sneak into sixth place.
