Don’t miss the latest edition of our Mystery Wine Evenings.
Professor Milgate has ventured into the depths of his cellar to find a range of pinot noirs. The evening will explore the diversity of this somewhat temperamental grape: In total 21 pinot noirs will be tasted, from blanc de noir champagnes, an unusual white pinot noir, rosé and pinots from France, the United States, New Zealand, Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia.
But here’s the twist – you won’t know the specifics of each wine you’re sipping! As guests, you’ll embark on a tasting quest where you must rely on your wine knowledge to uncover the variety, winery, year, and region – all of which will be hidden from you.
Throughout the evening, you’ll sample each wine, evaluate its characteristics, and take your best guesses. Your scores and answers will be tallied, and an overall winner will be crowned.
