The Archibald Prize, first awarded in 1921, is Australia’s favourite art award and one of its most prestigious. Awarded to the best portrait painting, it’s a who’s who of Australian culture – from politicians to celebrities, sporting heroes to artists.
Members start with a private guided tour of the 2022 Archibald Prize Exhibit at the Art Gallery of NSW. The fabulous guides at the Art Gallery have a great knowledge of the art and artists and will help bring the artworks to life! After the tour, the evening will continue with a delicious 3-course dinner, designed to be shared, at the restaurant ‘Crafted by Matt Moran’ at the Gallery.
