Another interesting year in the AFL with plenty of ups and downs as well as plenty of bye’s that had the ladder all over the place for the first 10 weeks of competition. There have been plenty of upsets, close games and a few blows outs and just as the dust began to settle the cream rose to the top and the comfortable ladder leaders the Sydney Swans had two shock losses in a row which has breathed life into the rest of the competition, as teams start making some moves to secure themselves a spot into the top 8 and more importantly into September finals action.

An exciting season that seems to get closer and closer each year. As it stands, there are still 14 teams still fighting for a top 8 spot, with only 7 home and away games remaining.

Let’s have a look at how the top of the tipping table stands after 17 rounds.

The Tipping leaderboard:

1.Tony Happell – 98 points
2. Capper 1984 (Damian Tancred) – 98 points
3. RWC2023 (Phil Smith) – 98 points
