VonRyan hits the lead!
It’s been another interesting first half of the year with plenty of ups and downs for all of the Club’s (Eagles and Roos maybe exceptions).
There has been plenty of upsets, close games and a few blowouts, and to cap off this weekend the top two sides ran into trouble.
As the teams start to find some consistency off the field, it doesn’t necessarily transfer to a better season on it. In saying that, this season seems to be one of the closest in recent history as we have 15 teams still fighting for the top 8 spots as we hit the halfway mark of the year.
Let’s have a look at how the top of the tipping table stands after 12 rounds:
- VonRyan (Peter Ryan) 75 points
- GeelongJules (Julian Dickinson) 72 points
- Linden_123 (Linden Smith) 72 Points
AFL tipsters are heading to the SCG!
As part of this year’s tipping competition, we are taking Members out to the SCG for the Sydney Swans v Western Bulldogs game on Friday 8 July. RSVP via fix@tattersallsclub.org.
We are also asking Members who hold a Platinum SCG membership if you would be willing to lend them to the Club for the game. As always, any assistance is greatly appreciated!
AFL Grand Final Viewing Party
Finally, we will be holding our annual AFL Grand Final Viewing Party in the Members’ Bar 13:30 Saturday 24 September so please put the date in your diaries. More details will be released soon.
Of course, we may have a last-minute venue change to the MCG if everyone’s favourite team (Carlton) makes it to the last Saturday in September!
