Following the successful preview online exhibition of Artisans in the Gardens in October 2021, our partners at the Foundation and Friends of the Botanic Gardens are excited to bring the in-person exhibition to you. Where you can mingle with the artists, sip on a glass of wine, enjoy delicious canapés, and shop for exquisite pieces before the general public.
A celebration of the natural world, Artisans in the Gardens, brings together an extraordinary range of artwork. The exhibition showcases some of Australia’s best established and emerging artists and craftspeople with over 2,000 artworks including sculptures, ceramics, hand-blown glass, jewellery, textiles plus so much more.
The pieces are thought provoking, awe-inspiring, functional and beautiful pieces of art. The artistic inspiration for the works draws on the intrinsic beauty of nature as well as current environmental issues and sustainability.
All items in the exhibition are for sale with proceeds going to the artists and to assisting Foundation and Friends of the Botanic Gardens in supporting horticulture, conservation, scientific research and educational programs within your Botanic Gardens.
As a partner of Foundation and Friends of the Botanic Gardens, the Club has limited complimentary tickets for the opening night to offer to Members.
