On our Fourth and final golf day of the year, we had one final opportunity to add to the Victor Audette Shield standings, which count each member’s best three of four scores throughout the year.

Last Thursday, a group of 35 members, along with a few guests, teed off at 8:00 a.m. on the picturesque Australian Club Golf course. Despite recent heavy rains just days prior, which had everyone with their fingers crossed hoping for the rain to pass, thankfully we were greeted with clear blue skies, beautiful fairways, and some newly renovated sand bunkers which made it tricky at times. The round wrapped up with some impressive scores and showcasing some excellent golf, but of course all members and guests enjoyed their time on such a prestigious course and as always, the day’s highlights was sharing stories and recapping each other’s rounds over a post round lunch.

We once again thank our dual members for hosting such a wonderful day.

Here are the results:
– Winner: Rodrick Poll, with a handicap of 7, scoring a remarkable 39 points.
– Runner-Up: Glenn Spratt, with a handicap of 25, scoring 36 points C/B.
– Third Place: Alan Israel, with a handicap of 15, scoring 36 points C/B.

– Longest Drive: Amanda Gillis
– Nearest to the Pin: Ian Hedley

Our next and final Golf event for the year is:
