We’re thrilled to share some wonderful news from within our Club community our very own Committee Member Mickaela Mate is engaged!
On a sunny Sydney day, Mickaela’s partner Tom pulled together a thoughtful itinerary, taking her on a journey through some of the most special places in their relationship.
They started with a quiet beachside picnic, champagne in hand, before heading into the city to the very bar where they first met. Sitting at their old table, surrounded by the buzz of the afternoon crowd, they raised a glass to where it all began.
Then came the final stop, a leafy park under the Harbour Bridge, one they’ve visited time and again. And it was there, with the sun shining and the water sparkling behind them, that Tom got down on one knee.
Of course, Mickaela said yes.
