Group classes deliver community, accountability and convenience. Imagine a different themed workout preprogrammed for you every time you enter the Athletic Department. Personalize repetitions, rest and exercises planned, described, and laid out.
Focusing on four different types of training, Athletic Director Malcolm has created the following rotating themes: Sprint, Resistance, Partners and Aerobic.
So, what can you expect from each of these classes?
- Sprint: 100mph or faster, quick cardio movements mixed in with structured weights gets your heart rate high and keeps it there for the entire class.
- Resistance: Purely weight focused, this class is all about your muscles being under tension to help create lean strong muscle mass.
- Partners: This new style of workout is created with big numbers and repetitions in mind. This class will make you feel great after push you to the limit.
- Aerobic: This class is the ultimate builder, the aim of this class is using compound movements to elevate your heart rate to a steady state so you can maintain a high level of intensity without needing extra rest.
With Focus and Focus 2.0 now running every Tuesday and Thursday at 12: 30, there are plenty of options for you to choose from to get your workout in.
