From just outside Avignon, the Perrin Family have been making Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape one of the greatest names from this famous wine region for five generations.
The Perrins also make some of Provence’s most delicious and best-value wines under the La Vieille Ferme label.
The 2020 Côtes-du-Ventoux Rouge is the same blend as the famous de Beaucastel Châteauneuf – Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache & Syrah, a great balance of soft red fruits and light tannins.
Then there is the 2023 Rosé. A beautiful powder pink, or as the French like to say ‘onionskin’ colour, that is as fresh and delicious as any Provence Rosé.
We also have the La Vieille Ferme Côtes-du-Luberon Blanc, a blend of Bourboulenc, Grenache blanc, Roussanne, Ugni blanc & Vermentino. Yes, it is as complex as you would expect and a terrific food wine, perfectly matched with oysters.
These wines are all available by the glass for $10 or by the bottle for $49 for the month of July. Santé!
