On our third golf day of the year, we had another opportunity to add to the Victor Audette Shield standings, which count each member’s best three of four scores throughout the year.
Last Thursday, a group of 14 members, along with a few guests, teed off at 8:30 on the picturesque Concord Golf Course. Despite recent heavy rains, we were greeted with clear blue skies, beautiful fairways, and quick, undulating greens. The round wrapped up with everyone completing their game, delivering impressive scores and showcasing some excellent golf. As always, one of the day’s highlights was sharing stories and recapping each other’s rounds over a light-hearted lunch.

– Winner: Rain Wang, with a handicap of 10, scoring a remarkable 38 points.
– Runner-Up: Martin Karafilis, with a handicap of 13, scoring 35 points.
