Have you developed a hack for sniffing out the good and the bad from a wine list? That’s what really impresses your guests when you are having a long luncheon.

But panic no more, you won’t need to sniff around because a reliable method for successful wine-choosing has now been made easier here at Tattersalls Club. The team have recently launched our new wine list – with already raving reviews and feedback from Members – and have assigned a section solely for the best of the best.

An example is The Coppermine Road Cabernet Sauvignon ’17, from d’Arenberg, a founding member of Australia’s First Families of Wine.

Or also try the Henschke Single Vineyard ‘Julius’ Riesling Cellar Reserve from Eden Valley. Australia has the second-highest plantings of Riesling with only Germany having more acreage. The success of Riesling in this region is due to the topography, with the vineyard being located on hills and exposed aspects – that itself deserves its own two rows on the list.

Overall, the wine industry is flourishing but that’s also because Australia is a market where consumers are increasingly interested and inquisitive about fine wines from South Australia and Western Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.

Undoubtedly this means Mario and Ezzy have a secret stash that is not on the list as well, so why not ask them both what they have tucked away?!

If you have not already enjoyed our new premium list, you better get in quick as our Limited Cellar Release is strictly limited and highly sought-after!
