Mahjong is back at the Club this June, and this time we’re getting better!

Coach Eric Wan returns to lead Mahjong 103, the advanced chapter for members who’ve worked through the earlier lessons and are ready to sharpen their game, as well as those who already have a strong understanding of the game.

At this level, it’s less about the basics and more about what’s happening across the table. Reading other players, anticipating their next move, knowing when to hold back and when to commit, these are the skills that separate a good player from a great one. Luck still plays its part, of course, but strategy plays a bigger one than most people realise.

Over three evenings, Eric will walk you through the finer points of advanced play: controlling the pace, making smarter decisions under pressure, and developing the kind of table awareness that comes with proper coaching and practice.
