Friday 5th March from 18:00 to 19:30

This year we are celebrating International Women’s Day early, hosting an after-work Friday drinks event.

Our two guest speakers are prime examples of those challenging social disadvantages that face women worldwide. They will be in conversation with Committee Member Bettina Pidcock.

Geena Dunne, Founder of The Cova Project, an Australian charity dedicated to providing benevolent relief to girls and women of reproductive age across the world who are experiencing poverty, suffering, distress and disadvantage due to lack of financial resources and access to basic necessities.

Stephenie Rodriguez, Founder of Jozu for Women Inc and inventor of the Wandersafe beacon. Her subject matter expertise on personal safety and global risk is second to none as a member of the US Department of State’s OSAC.gov Women in Security Council.

Both Women will discuss how they have overcome adversity, how COVID has affected how and where they work, and give us insight into their amazing work and what changes for women they would like to see in the short term.

$50 person includes drinks and canapes.
