Join us for a night of stars gazing surrounded by the intriguing ‘Love Your Nature’ plant exhibition at The Calyx, in the heart of the Royal Botanic Garden.
Over a glass of wine, discover what the night sky teaches you with Botanic Garden resident First Nations astronomer and distinguished Astrophysicist Dr Ángel Lopez -Sanchez. More than 4,000 planets have been discovered and tonight his team of experts will take you on a journey to these strange ‘other’ worlds.
Find out how astronomers detect exoplanets around other stars and learn about the most interesting planets we have found out there!
Powerful telescopes from the Northern Sydney Astronomical Society will allow a personal discovery of the world beyond Earth.
